Zhongguancun Hospital was founded in 1957, which was then called "Western Suburb Outpatient Department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences". In 1962, it was renamed "Zhongguancun Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Sciences". In 1964, it was renamed "Beijing Zhongguancun Hospital" by the district government. On March 12, 2014, Haidian District Government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed the Framework Agreement on Cooperation and Co construction of Beijing Zhongguancun Hospital, To be listed as "Zhongguancun Hospital of Chinese Academy of Sciences" on November 18, 2015. After nearly 60 years of historical accumulation, adhering to the entrepreneurial spirit of "unity, dedication, preciseness and diligence", it has now developed into a district level II Grade A general hospital integrating medical, teaching, research, prevention and community health services.
