The Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shandong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine are the National Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation, the National TCM Epidemic Prevention Base, and the output hospital of the National Regional Medical Center. Founded in July 1955, the hospital is one of the earliest provincial TCM hospitals in China, and the first president is Liu Huimin. After nearly 70 years of development, the hospital has now become a large, Grade III, Grade A comprehensive TCM hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care and rehabilitation. The hospital has two hospital areas, Baotu Spring and Qianfo Mountain.
